What's on 4 Winners!
Wow, we cannot believe it, we are the winners of the Most Outstanding Baby and Toddler group for the whole of the UK!
Today, Gemma and I attended the What's on 4 Junior Awards at Chessington World of Adventures.
When we arrived the car park was packed and we were advised by the parking attendant to park wherever we could find a space, so we did....
We sat patiently in the main room as the ceremony started. Lucy Piper was the main presenter, with a fantastic and empowering speech delivered by Sid Sloane. Then came our category; now we had been advised by email that the winner of our category would be informed prior to the event and as yet, we had not heard anything. So when our category was announced and the Highly Commended winner was confirmed (not us), we offered our congratulations, but had a slight panic that we weren't going to win anything. We made a promise to each other, that if we did win, we were going to do the 'Let it be me' dance (from cBeebies). Low and behold, Twins at Totstime were announced the winners!!
Gemma and I were so excited, everyone clapped for us and we both went up to collect the award. And yes, we did the dance!
We even managed to get our photograph taken with the main man himself, Mr Sid Sloane...
We had such a fantastic day, here's our award...
