Stoney Stanton Carnival
The carnival is on Saturday 11th June. The theme this year is Royalty. It was discussed whether we should have a float at the carnival this year as we would not make a profit so it would just be for fun. JD to find out what floats ideas have already gone then the committee can decide what theme to do and how much it would cost to decorate the float. The committee can then decide if it is something we should go ahead with.
M’s Pamper night
The committee decided on the date of Saturday 16th April and that we would hire the whole place as we only need a minimum of 35 people to do this. The cost is £33.50 per head with a £10 deposit. Some people will need to arrive for 6pm so the treatments can start.
Weekend Opening or Gatherings
It was discussed whether Twins at Totsime should open on a Sat or Sun or a weekend gathering organised every so often. The committee agreed that this was a good idea, as it would benefit families who cannot make it to the club on Mondays.
Confirmation of hut availability will be sought by Jacqui initially. Should the hut be available, the first weekend meet up will be on Sun 22nd May, 11-2pm at The scout Hut. It will be a bring your own picnic on the park theme. The committee agreed it would be good to have a bouncy castle, tombola/raffle stalls a cake stall and a photographer. Exact details to be arranged nearer the time.

Other Items Discussed
Attendance – Only 1 quiet week, good attendance overall
Recycling – Marion is storing until she has lots to send off. Marion to arrange another clothing collection. We are now collecting Sainsbury’s Active vouchers. Increase Facebook posts to remind people what we recycle.
Phoenix Cards - £40.33 donated from Kerry’s card sales in the last 6 months. Kerry to put more posts on Facebook.
Toys – It has been brought to the committee’s attention that there have not been enough toddler toys out at the group. Jacqui will look at rearranging the space used to try to give more space to toddler toys, such as ride on toys and small world play. After the toy cleaning session we will know more about what toys we have and if any new toys need to be added to the groups. A sensory basket to be created for the babies.
Toy Cleaning – A session to clean and sort the toys has been arranged for Sunday 20th March at 3pm at The Scout Hut, as many as possible to attend please. Children also welcome.
Opening Times – Twins at Totstime and Totsime will be closed on Mon 28th and Thurs 31st March for Easter and will be closed the week commencing Mon 30th May for half term.
Craft Order – An order will be placed with The Works. A concrete mixing tray to be purchased for messy play.
Cleaning - The Scout Hut are still taking charge of the cleaning and cleaning cupboard. There are still issues with the cleanliness of the Scout Hut before the groups but this will have to be dealt with by Jacqui and the helpers on the day.
Stoney Stanton Community Centre – Jacqui is attending a meeting to find out more about a possible Community Centre being built in Stoney Stanton. The Committee agreed that it would be a good idea to say that Twins at Totstime and Totstime would be interested in using the Centre if it meets our needs.
